What is BIM?

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process that begins with the creation of an intelligent 3D model and enables document management, coordination and simulation during the entire life cycle of a project (plan, design, build, operation and maintenance).er text or insert images or tables, if necessary.

As a BIM specialist I'm :
1- Researching and developing Revit Templates and families based on international codes and standards.
2- Developing documents and white papers for the use and implementation of architecture and landscape design teams.
3- Developing training materials and strategies for architecture and landscape  Design teams.
4- Auditing Architectural and landscape BIM models.
5- Providing Revit Civil 3D and Navisworks support.
6- Supervising files setup and linking process.
7- Advising on the need of special modelling techniques or approaches based on BIM workflows and protocols.
8- Advising architecture and landscape teams on best practices, modelling techniques, tips and tricks.
9- Troubleshooting software problems as well as workflow-related issues.10-Working with the project team to meet project deliverable.

1- Design and Build for Lusail Palaces, Qatar

Architectural design (under BIM management) and construction documents for the project’s five packages.

2- American University of Beirut (AUB) Medical Center Expansion, Lebanon

Detailed architectural design (under BIM management and according to LEED certification for healthcare requirements) tender documents for a world class healthcare facility consisting of 12- storey hospital building with 5 basement levels and the capacity of 160 beds

Site area: 14,258 m²

Built-up area: 60,000 m²


3- DAR Beirut Headquarters, Lebanon.

Detailed architectural design and tender documents for a new headquarter complex to accommodate 2000 employees. Consists of seven basement levels (including mezzanine), a Podium occupying ground, and two upper floors, topped by a 7-storey North tower and 18-storey South tower.

Total built-up area: 75,000 m²

Plot area: 5,576 m²


4- AL Maktoum International Airport (AMI) – Concourse 1 Building, UAE

Detailed architectural design (under BIM management and according to LEED v4 BD+C Gold certification requirements), tender documents for concourse building with a built-up area 2 million m² (combined capacity with Concourse 2 of 120 million passengers/year), including underground BHS space, related rotundas and fixed bridges, landscaping ,and state-of-the-art security measures.


5- AL Maktoum International Airport (AMI) – Short Term Car-Park, UAE

Detailed architectural design (under BIM management), tender documents for car-park building of 250,000 m² as a built-up area, including all infrastructure and electro-mechanical systems.


6- AL Maktoum International Airport (AMI) – West Terminal Building, UAE

Detailed architectural design (under BIM management and according to LEED v4 BD+C Gold certification requirements), tender documents for a new terminal building (560,000 m²) with a capacity of 30 million passengers/year, including all Infrastructure, landscaping services, and state-of-the-art security measures.


7- AL Maktoum International Airport (AMI) – Concourse 2 Building, UAE

Detailed architectural design (under BIM management and according to LEED v4 BD+C Gold certification requirements), tender documents for concourse building with a built-up area 2 million m² (combined capacity with Concourse 1 of 120 million passengers/year), including underground BHS space, related rotundas and fixed bridges, landscaping ,and state-of-the-art security measures.


8- Scan-To-BIM of Oman Old Airport (Oman, Muscat)

Using Laser scan technology to map the old Oman airport with high accuracy (+/- 5mm), all trades with more than 1600 spaces and the final deliverable is as-built 3D Revit Model with 2D extracted drawings with full details with all the metadata for assets.


9- Administrative Complex for the Presidency Headquarters, Algeria.

Detailed design and tender documents (under BIM) for a presidential palace (34,000 m², 2B+GF+3), presidential residence (6,500 m², 2B+GF+2), central utility plant (5,000 m²), multi-storey car-park (25,000 m²) for 1,000 cars, a 10,000 m² administrative complex, 2 helipads, 6 high end security gates, landscaping, and all infrastructure utilities and networks.


10- Salahaddin University-Erbil-New campus Buildings, Kurdistan Region, Iraq

Master plan, detailed architectural design (under BIM management) and tender documents for a new university campus (built-up area of 1.5 million m² when fully developed) with a student enrolment of 40,000 at its ultimate phase, including academic, non-academic, administrative, accommodation, healthcare, sports, and infrastructure buildings and facilities.
